Toledo Telenet's Acceptable Use Policy

As of February 1st, 2000

1. E-mail: Toledo Telenet users are expected to be good Internet Citizens and should keep themselves apprised of all federal, state, and local laws regarding the use of Internet Email. Be aware that Washington State does have an "Anti-Spam" law that places criminal penalties for people who abuse and fraudulently send unsolicited email.

2. Multiple Logins: Toledo Telenet's system does not allow multiple logins with a single account. Users must be aware that Toledo Telenet's accounting system does measure the hours of use of each individual modem connection. For example, this means if an account is connected to our system via two separate modems for two hours that counts as fours of use against your monthly allotment.

3. IP Addressing:  By default Toledo Telenet uses Dynamic IP Addressing, for both Dialup and DSL users.  Users wanting or needing a Static IP Address(es), can be issued address upon request.  There is a $10/month administration fee per IP address, with the exception of special account packages that in include static addressing, as part of the package.

4. Connection Speeds: Toledo Telenet cannot guarantee minimum connection speeds. Due to ever changing technology and differences in equipment and the various telephone facilities, we are unable to guarantee minimum modem connection speeds.
