Camp Sheppard is located in the renowned Cascade Mountains, just minutes from Mount Rainier National Park and Crystal Mountain ski area. Cliffs tower overhead, pristine falls can be found nearby and giant elk freely roam the meadows. Visitors may enjoy hiking, backpacking, mountaineering, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, inner- tubing and much more. Sheppard is a leader in Leave No Trace education.

Mom & Me
Mothers and Cub Scouts have created many fun memories together at Mom & Me weekends. The program and activities include archery, BB guns, crafts, and competitions between Moms and Sons. Cub Scout Winter Camp

Boy Scout Winter Camp
Inner tubing, day hikes, scavenger hunts, cross-country skiing and snow shoe hiking are some activities boys and leaders can enjoy at Boy Scout Winter Camp. Adventure Camp - Coming Soon
This program offers a variety of activities depending on age and interest. Camp Sheppard High Adventure Base
Sheppard Base is the premier High Adventure Base in the nation where trekkers have the choice between six exciting trek programs. They include backpacking, mountain biking, mountaineering and adventure racing with instruction in Leave No Trace ethics, team building, camping, cooking, climbing, GPS navigation, cross country travel and exploration. Venturing Outdoor Leadership Training - VOLT - Coming Soon
Venturing Outdoor Leadership Training (VOLT) is a unique program where young men and women enhance their leadership skills in the Camp Sheppard Venture Program back country. Backpacking, mountaineering and mountain biking will be included to help Ventures and Scouts expand on their team building and ethical decision making skills. VOLT uses elements of the Camp Sheppard High Adventure Base as well as Explorer Search and Rescue skills to teach leadership, teamwork and lessons of selfless service. VOLT will offer participants an unforgettable back country experience where they live leadership and teamwork using the core elements of scouting to make their skills intuitive. 2010 VOLT Registration Form or 2010 VOLT Student Guide.
