Rainier -Maximum group size: 12 (10 Trekkers, 2 Instructors) -Minimum age-14 -Cost $300 or $350 with SeaTac shuttle -Monday starts available The Trek The Super Trek is the ultimate combination of a great 50-mile hike including cross country navigation and wilderness survival training, a scenic mountain bike ride on a nationally ranked trail, a challenging glacier mountaineering ascent on spectacular Mt. Rainier topped off with some exciting rock climbing and rappelling - all during the same week! Your adventure starts at our beautiful chalet-style Camp Sheppard High Adventure Base area (2500') to gear you up for some hiking on the famous Pacific Crest Trail (5700'). Next we teach you basic mountain bike skills for your ride on the popular Skookum Flats trail, then it’s time for map, compass and GPS field work during our hike into amazing Mt. Rainier National Park. There you’ll learn glacier snow and ice climbing using climbing rope, knots, ice axe and crampons with our expert staff. The route leads up to Camp Schurman Mountain
Ranger Hut (9500') on spectacular Steamboat Prow. Finally, you’ll learn,
belaying, climbing signals, and rappelling at Ranger Rock and Boulder Alley. We also include instruction in Wilderness Survival and Search and Rescue procedures. Super Tri-Trek puts adventure all together like no other. We’re going, let’s trek! Note: This is a challenging trek and should not be attempted unless trekkers are in strong physical condition.
