Dear Chuck & everyone -

Thank you for the check - as always I feel so grateful I honestly don't know how we would have managed without this generosity - The love you all show is something so unexpected I feel humble.
Max has quit chemo-he has been off for 2 weeks now. We are hoping he can regain some strength - The side effects of chemo were just too difficult to bear. The doctor will still try to convince Max to continue with a different chemical, but we have until March 12th to give an answer.
This is so hard to deal with knowing the cancer will never go away no matter what we do - I and of course Max have never experienced anything like this in our families- Having no experience -a good thing? or not?
